This page lists the cookie and browser storage that the-prepmaster.com uses, what each one does, and how you control them.
1. Introduction
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser and reads back on later requests. That is how a session is recognized. localStorage is a related browser feature. It keeps small amounts of data on your device but is not sent with each request.
2. Items Stored on Your Device
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __Host-ck | Cookie, strictly necessary | Ties your checkout session to your order during payment | 90 minutes |
| the-prepmaster-cart | localStorage, strictly necessary | Holds the items in your cart between pages and visits | Until you empty the cart or clear site data |
| the-prepmaster-consent | localStorage, strictly necessary | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner | Until you change it or clear site data |
__Host-ck is marked HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it. It is also marked Secure, so it travels only over HTTPS.
3. Categories
Strictly necessary: cart and checkout depend on these. The banner shows them as always on. Both table entries belong here.
Analytics and advertising: PREP MASTER uses none. The banner keeps these categories off unless you opt in. Opting in currently adds nothing.
4. Outside Providers
No third-party cookies are set on the-prepmaster.com. If checkout takes you to an outside payment provider's page, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.
5. Changing Your Choice
The cookie banner offers Reject all, Manage and Accept all. Manage lists each category, with strictly necessary items locked on. Your choice is saved in your browser. Clearing your site data resets it, and the banner asks again on your next visit.
6. Blocking in Your Browser
Your browser settings can block or delete cookies and site data. If __Host-ck is blocked, checkout will not work. Clearing localStorage removes your cart contents. Browsing other pages is unaffected.
7. Do Not Track and GPC
Browser privacy signals, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, count as an opt-out here. Optional categories then stay off. No tracking runs, so the signal changes nothing in practice.
8. Revisions
Before any new cookie is introduced, or an existing one is repurposed, we revise the table and the page date.
9. Cookie Contact
